July Kit at Embellished

All I can say is...Delish!!!

This kit is overflowing with Jenni Bowlin PPs. Kind of modern/vintage look to them! Just gorgeous! Here are two of my LOs using the kit and I have more but they are samples for some challenges/comps. so I will share them here once they have been posted at Embellished!

Cold old weekend!

Well it was a cold and wet weekend here! So I got 5 LOs done!!!!!!!!! Unheard of here as I'm a bit of a procratinator!


This is one - of Poppy and my older sister - she only has boys, so Poppy is "her girl"!
I can't show the rest yet as they are for Embellished using next month's kit. It is soooooo delish!
It scanned a bit crooked! oopppss!

And this one is using Hambly PP - gotta love it! The text ( Run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me...) and little gingerbread man are from a little golden book - great source for vintage images!

A LO for Louise

Well it has been a very busy week with a trip up north to see my family for my niece's Confirmation! With work, Poppy having a cold and life in general, not much scrapping going on but I'm happy that I have finished a double LO for Louise's swap....quotes that move you! Mine is an amazing quote from Nelson Mandela...I went to see the prison where he was kept years ago when I was in South Africa....

Here is one I did today! I also completed another LO but that's for the up and coming colour challenge at Embellished! So I will share it once the challenge has be posted in a few days!

It feels sooooo great to be back scrapping Miss P! She looks so cheeky in this pic!

I will be sending a little RAK to Carla...for being visitor 1000! Tori was just after Carla and as she is new to scrapping and didn't know what a RAK was I will definately have to send her some goodies too!!!

Not much to share...

Well I have been maddly doing a 32 page album for a friend...it's for her dad's 70th! I had less than two weeks to complete it! Due to time constraints and the size I had to keep it REALLY simple - more of a photo album than the scrapping that I normally do! But that's what my friend wanted and she was pleased with it when I dropped it off today!

I'm glad I can get back to my own scrapping...have lots of ideas and certainly enough in my stash!!!

I noticed that my counter is already up to 983!!! What the???LOL!!! So if you happen to be the 1000th lurker on my blog( or closest after that number) leave me a message and I will send you a RAK...nothing tooo huge but definately great scrapping fun!

Run, run, run

Well we headed to the park yesterday to try out the camera...I really have lots to learn but it was just a play! And do you think Poppy would sit still??? Oh no she just LOVES to run about...I think it's a two man job so Tony will get roped in next time!

New Camera

OMG....soooooooooooooo excited! I finally own the Canon 400! I have been dying for a new camera for so long! I have saved up and finally it's mine! YAY! Have set it up and am going to have a play tomorrow...Poor Poppy will have the lens in her face all weekend...

Have lots to learn about it and am hoping to find a good photography course to do!
