thanks for all the PMs, emails, comments of congratulations! I am really overwhelmed by the wonderful online communities in the scrapping world. I am very excited about Masters and all the wonderful scrappers I get to work with next year. I am yet to see the mag!LOL!

I'm very lucky as my MIL is hosting Christmas this year - she loves to play hostess and god is she a great cook! So I can't wait! Poppy doesn't quite get it yet but I know she'll love her new toys! The day after boxing day we are off to see my family and staying for New Years! YAY!

Time flies...

...when you are having fun! Like everyone at this time of the year, we are soooooooo busy! With Christmas parties, catch ups, shopping, birthdays and a wedding - all fun and festive times!


I have done some scrapping but nothing I can share right now...so only some Christmas pics....the tree is up, the cards are made, the presents just need wrapping!

I'm already excited about the new year ahead with lots of fun opportunities, work options, scrapping activities, photo challenges, (hopefully a new study course) and finally house renovations...already presenting themselves!

It's beginning to feel....

Alot like Christmas....

We are back from Melbourne and had a ball athough we missed our girl...still, it was great to have a few days just as a couple! Dinners & coffees, shopping - lots of shopping, movies, few wines...it was fabulous! Poppy was a good girl for her Nanny and Papa.

Now we are in Christmas mode, finishing up the shopping, Poppy had her photo with Santa - and no tears or tantrums but not much of a smile either, at least she sat on his knee! I just have to put up the tree, make my Christmas cards and few calendars for the grandparents!

What a hoot....

Mel - the boss lady at Scrapworld sent me the MOST FABULOUS kit to work with - a huge pile of Sassafrasslass Owl paper...OMG I love every single inch of it!!! It was so easy to use...LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT.

I did a pile of LOs and still have some left for cards....but the cards will have to wait because we are off to Melbourne tomorrow - just Dh and I...Poppy is staying at her Nanny and Papa's house. It's exciting to get a break but a little stressful as I have never had a night away from my girl in two years - and we will be away for 5 nights! OMG! She will be fine - it's me that's not coping! But I'm sure the shoe shops on Chapel street and the cake shops at St Kilda will console me!LOL!

Check one, TWO...

OMG my baby is TWO! Yesterday Poppy celebrated turning two with a Ladybug theme party! Lots of food, lots of fun, lots of friends and yes she was thoroughly spoilt - new trike, a dolls pram, puzzles, books, playdough, clothes...the list goes on! She was the perfect hostess!

I can't believe two years have passed already! She is a joy....a busy joy!!!LOL!

I'm teaching this CUTE clear mini at Scraptivate on the 1st of December! It lots of fun! Ring the store if you want to come along!

Congratulations to Natalie and all the girls at Scraptivate...it's their first birthday already!!! It really is a great shop overflowing with inspiration! They have a sale on this weekend in celebration so pop in if you are a local!

I will be popping in on Wednesday because I am meeting up with the awesome Donna J...she is over here visiting family! Soooooooo excited to be meeting her...Milly and Poppy are going to have a play too!!

We're back........

Well we had a ball in Thailand...although there was no "relaxation" time when travelling with a toddler! That said Poppy was really good but due to her age there was a lot we couldn't really do. Phuket was stunning - our resort was just gorgeous....private beach, five pools, restaurants,gym, playcentre and a baby elephant that visited daily and scared the crap out of Poppy. She really wanted to see it each day but then bawled if it go too close!

We ate lots, swam lots, walked lots and shopped lots!

The local people were gorgeous and adored Poppy especially her pale skin and blue eyes. They touched her alot which freaked me out at first but it's just the way they are...she loved it and learnt lots of social skills - shaking hands, new greetings "morning", and answering questions..."what's your name? How old are you"...she loved the attention!

In Bangkok we were joined by my inlaws and they helped out with Poppy - Tony and I got to go out in the evening for a meal and some MORE shopping! It is such a hectic place, great to visit but I'd hate to live there!

We had a fabulous time and we will definately be returning but not until our kids are a little older!

We are off to Thailand next Friday so things are going to get a little busy around here...and I am doing relief work on Monday and Tuesday so there may be very little creating going on just lots of ironing and packing! I can't wait for our holiday!

There is no rhyme or reason to my scrapping...one minutes it's brights and the next vintagey with browns and inks....what the...???? Oh who knows!LOL!

I had my online class which was lots of fun...hope the girls enjoyed themselves too! I will be working on more of techniques class next time I think! We'll see!

I am doing my first online class for Scrapworld....

Here is a sneak peek....

Had two LOs published in the latest Scrapbook Creations...I'm posting them below as the colour and quality in the Mag was SHOCKING....how disappointing as usually this is one fabulous mag. I think something went wrong in the printing process as it's not just my LO that looks a bit off!

This one is nearly a year old!! The photo is by Julie Heard...it's her gorgeous DD! Julie has a lot of stunning LOs in the mag...she is pure inspiration!!!

And this one shows all the words Poppy could say @ 15months....it is completely blurry and dull in the mag!!!

Got my hands on some Elsie "lola" papers from the states( woo hoo - thanks Kyla) and have been having a play...still got tonnes left so expect to see lots more of this paper from me!

My exciting news is that I have been offered a position on the DT at Scrapworld!! YAY!! I love the site, the bosslady - Melissa, the other DT girls, the shop....How exciting! I'm ready for a fresh start! Can't wait! And Anne Marie is the winner of the recent comp! She is also a new team member! YAY AM!!!

Final week...

Well it is the final week of the Scrapworld comp. It has been fun awaiting the challenges and having a go at them each week. I also loved seeing how everyone interpreted the same challenge! Everyone did such a great job! This week's challenge was to scrap a wedding pic!

Busy week...

Worked alot this week, all a bit busy really! Bit I did manage to do this week's Scrapworld Challenge - Scrap about your day...

So I just took lots of pics on Monday....Miss P in the morning, meals,bathtime,stories, dishes, washing and that's really only the half of it!LOL!

I wanted the LO to look "busy and hectic" like my day!

Some awesome mail art landed on my door step this week and it was overflowing with goodies and stunning LOs by scrapwitch....how lucky am I!!!!!!!!!

OMG.....

Ummmmm I wasn't sure if I should post it here or not but I've seen it on other blogs so hey why not **toot**
Yesterday morning while scrambling around trying to get ready to go to the gym I got a call to say I had made it into SM 100 for the Masters Comp. I was actually a bit lost for words( unlike me!)...they must think I'm a bit weird!LOL!
So it's a bit exciting as I literally decided to enter at the last minute. My hope was to make the 100 and I honestly have no expectation beyond this - especially as I am beginning to see the wonderful ladies who are on the list!
So there you have it....thanks to a push and some support from a wonderful scrap buddy
